Nicole Campbell, MSW, LGSW
Mental Health Practitioner
Nicole (she/her/hers) came to face to face in September 2019 as graduate clinical intern. After she graduated with her Master of Social Work degree in May 2020 from St. Catherine University, she was hired here as an outpatient mental health practitioner. She brings experience working with young people and families through previous employment in residential and inpatient facilities, county crisis intervention programs, and a charter school special education setting. She is committed to the utilization of a person-centered, strengths-based and trauma informed approach through building genuine working relationships with youth. Her areas of interest include anxiety, depression, trauma and LGBTQ-related issues.
Will Carlson, LGSW
Will Carlson, LGSW joined Face to Face as a graduate clinical intern in September of 2016, and as a full time Mental Health Practitioner in the Outpatient and Intensive Systemic Therapy programs in June of 2017. He brings previous experience working with young people and families in a public school special education setting, on a larger scale family-based community intervention program at schools in several Midwestern states, and working with victims of violence and trauma as part of an international collaboration between the Institute of Child Development and Lira Integrated School in Lira, Uganda. He is committed to the utilization of a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to honor the stories of individuals, families, and communities and promote ongoing healing.
Kong (he/him/his and they/them/their) grew up in North Minneapolis and attended the University of Minnesota. He currently lives in Saint Paul and loves his community. He also identifies as a Queer Person of Color and was active in advocating for Queer rights in the past. He has worked with young people between the ages of 11-21 of all identities but primarily for those who are considered “at-risk” for over five years. He enjoys providing support for all individuals seeking it, and he enjoys working at SafeZone.
