Development and Communications Coordinator
Leigha Casper (she/her/hers) joined Face to Face in August 2020 as the Development and Communications Coordinator. Leigha’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree from St. Norbert College in Sociology and Peace and Justice. She is also working on a Master’s degree in Community and Organizational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. Her work experiences include student services, family homelessness support, communications, and development. Outside of work, Leigha enjoys outdoor activities, playing the piano, and spending time with family. She is looking forward to sharing Face to Face’s mission with the community.
Kong (he/him/his and they/them/their) grew up in North Minneapolis and attended the University of Minnesota. He currently lives in Saint Paul and loves his community. He also identifies as a Queer Person of Color and was active in advocating for Queer rights in the past. He has worked with young people between the ages of 11-21 of all identities but primarily for those who are considered “at-risk” for over five years. He enjoys providing support for all individuals seeking it, and he enjoys working at SafeZone.

Derick Chi Kumba
Shelter-Based Mental Health Practitioner
Derick grew up in Cameroon, West Africa. He has been licensed professional Counselor (LPC) since 2015. Derrick has many years of experience working with youth experiencing homelessness at Dan Yung shelter and the Youth lodge. Derrick began working at Face to Face in June of 2020 and is delighted to be a team member.
