Dear Face to Face Friend, At Face to Face, we’ve been dedicated to investing in youth for decades. It’s been an incredible journey, filled with countless stories of resilience, hope, and transformation. With your continued support, we’re expanding our services and increasing our capacity to enhance the impact we make in the lives of young people. This year we’re celebrating a significant milestone: the 30th anniversary of SafeZone, our drop-in day-shelter. At this resource center, we support more than 100 youth each day with essential services like hot meals and showers, assistance securing stable housing, job training, and so much more. You’re invited to our special event on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at Securian Financial. It’s more than a celebration: it’s an opportunity to reflect on the power of community support in the lives of young people. I will share updates on our recent impact and our plans for the future. We’ll be joined by Bruce Jackson, Associate General Counsel at Microsoft and author of Never Far From Home, who will sign his book and share his inspiring journey from poverty to professional success, overcoming obstacles similar to those faced by the youth we support.
